Must Watch Glenn Beck Video Regarding New Montana Gun Law

from MsUnderestimated.com

Sheer genius. I can’t think of words right now, so I’m just going to tell you the players and you need to watch the video. It’s a self-styled guide as to how we, as individuals, can take our country back and reclaim our individual states’ sovereignty.

Included are Utah State Representative Carl Wimmer, Texas State Representative Leo Berman, and a story about Montana’s new law stating that firearms, ammo, etc., manufactured in Montana will NOT be subject to federal laws, and these states, as well as Oklahoma (my home state) are all drafting legislation to overtly re-emphasize STATES’ RIGHTS (10th Amendment) over the Federal Government!

Utah’s Representative, Carl Wimmer, is a retired police officer. Imagine his surprise that during the time of the interview, the story passed the wires that the Obama Administration is cutting benefits by 50% for families of police officers who have died in the line of duty! WTF is Obongo doing?

FOLKS, THESE MEN ARE TRAILBLAZERS, AND I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO WRITE, CALL, VISIT YOUR OWN STATE’S REPRESENTATIVES TO ADOPT THIS SAME RESOLUTION FURTHER STRENGTHENING THE 10TH AMENDMENT!

WE REFUSE TO BE SLAVES TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! STAND UP! STAND UP WITH US! BREAK THIS CYCLE OF SLAVERY!

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN A WHILE THAT I’VE FELT HOPEFUL AND LIKE A MIRACLE IS WAITING TO HAPPEN. COME ON, PEOPLE, BE PART OF THIS! DON’T BE PART OF THE APATHY THAT KILLS THIS GREAT REPUBLIC!

Okay, enough shouting… just PLEASE do your part and make your voices heard/known in your local jurisdictions.

GOD BLESS AMERICA! And STATE SOVEREIGNTY IS PARAMOUNT!

Right’s rage at overbearing Obama

The torrent of ideas flowing out of the White House is raising hackles across the US

From The Sunday Times
by Sarah Baxter in Washington
April 12, 2009

A CONSERVATIVE talk show host claims Barack Obama’s policies amount to dousing the American public with petrol and lighting a match. A top adviser to George W Bush calls the vice-president a liar. And a congressman says there are 17 “socialists” in the House of Representatives.

The political invective is turning ugly after the promise of hope and change. Some say it is Obama’s fault for his hyperactivist style of government. Others say it is time the Republicans realised they lost.

The meaning of “Obamaism” – yes, he already has his own “ism” – is being hotly debated. Is it style or substance? The hype about his cool has been overtaken by the realisation on both sides of the divide that Obama meant what he said on the campaign trail about being a transformational president.

In his first three months in office, his administration has put forward a $3.5 trillion budget, produced a rescue plan for banks and bailed out the car industry and is promising a green energy “revolution”, universal healthcare, school reform and an overhaul of immigration.

That’s not counting foreign policy after a week of European summits, dubbed the Obama “apology tour” after he called America “arrogant”, and topped off with a row over whether the president bowed ingratiatingly to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at the G20 meeting in London.

There have been diplomatic overtures to Iran, the announcement of a “surge” in Afghani-stan and a demand for $83 billion in supplementary funding for the two wars, including Iraq, which will no longer be known as the “war on terror” but still upsets the left.

On top of it all, Obama turned salesman last week, urging homeowners to refinance their mortgages at the favourable new low interest rates.

“We’re starting to see glimmers of hope across the economy,” he said as the Dow Jones rose by 20% and jobless benefit claims recorded a slight fall.

For George Packer, a liberal commentator writing in The New Yorker, Obamaism is “activist government on every front”. The president’s attempt to preserve the fabric of society is not left-wing but “a pretty good description of what used to pass for conservatism”.

On the right, Peter Wehner argued in Commentary magazine that Obamaism represents the emergence of “European-style social democracy”, which will change America’s social and political landscape.

Moderate “blue dog” Democrats are concerned that Obama is taking on too much. Those who are defending tiny majorities in conservative-leaning districts fear a backlash from voters who worry the president is tilting too far to the left.

The scale of Obama’s ambition is enough to make Republicans see red. Glenn Beck, a Fox News host who has been generating his own headlines with exaggerated outbursts, said: “They’re marching us toward 1984. . . Like it or not, fascism is on the rise.”

Hearing of Obama’s plans for immigration reform, Beck imitated pouring petrol over a guest and lighting a match. “How much more can he disenfranchise us?” he fumed.

Spencer Bachus, a Republican congressman from Alabama, was accused of McCarthyism for saying Congress was pushing Obama too far to the left. “Some of the men and women I work with . . . are socialists,” he said. He has been keeping count. Pressed to explain, he said there were 17, but declined to name names.

Bush’s former aide, Karl Rove, caused a further stir last week after he called Joe Biden, the vice-president, a fantasist and a liar. Biden had recounted a conversation he had had with Bush in the Oval Office. “Well, Joe,” Bush said. “I’m a leader.”

“And I said: ‘Mr President, turn around and look behind you. No one is following’.”

Rove denied the exchange had ever taken place. “I hate to say this, but he’s a serial exaggerator. If I was being unkind, I would say liar.”

Despite the Democrats’ irritation with Rove, White House officials hope to take a leaf out of his book by keeping party activists in a state of permanent mobilisation. Obama’s campaign e-mail list of 13m supporters has already been used to drum up support in Congress for his spending plans.

In another attempt to energise the grass roots, plans are under way for activists from groups such as moveon.org and the labour organisation Change to Win to meet on Tuesdays in Washington.

Called the Common Purpose project, it is meant to provide “a way for the White House to manage its relationship with some of these independent groups”, according to one of those involved. Ellen Moran, White House communications director, has already turned up to one meeting.

The gathering is modelled on the Republicans’s long-established Wednesday meetings, run by Grover Norquist, the prominent tax reform activist.

But Norquist is sceptical the Democrats’ version will work. Various left-wing groups have been trying to copy it without success for years, he said.

“Our coalition holds together because nobody wants anything at the expense of anybody else. You can’t have healthcare reform that saves money if the labour unions take everything there is and you can’t have money for education workers if it is spent on health. That makes their coalition more brittle than ours.”

Norquist believes the president has pledged far more than he can deliver. But Obama is helped by the ability to raise colossal sums to stave off recession and reflate the economy. Temporarily, at least, there is plenty to go around.

The true nature of Obamaism may be revealed only once the money runs out. Then we will know if his hyperactivism has worked.

Mount Redoubt continues to thumb nose at EPA!

Thursday, April 9, 2009

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - In a blatant act of defiance to the EPA crackdown, Mt. Redoubt continues to spew ash and toxic gases unabated. The on-site spokesman for the EPA indicated that they are very disappointed that the volcano has chosen to continue down that path.
Rumors have been circulating that the EPA has been in contact with the United Nations. Sources indicate an emergency Security Council resolution has been requested that will apply crippling sanctions against the volcano.
A scientist from the EPA (oxymoron), who spoke on the condition of anonymity, indicated that a draft had in fact been completed, and that they expected the resolution to be voted on by the UN Security Council early next week.
In the meantime, a spokesman for the EPA requested that Americans remain calm. They are concerned with the hysteria that is being created by right wing blogs and talk shows.
The spokesman stated that, "It is unconscionable that these blogs and talk shows would actually be encouraging this volcano to erupt. We understand that one website thinks it would actually be funny if 'the volcano should suffer a pre-mature eruption. What kind of sick people are these?"
The EPA wants Americans to know that they are monitoring the situation very closely and are ready to take action at a moments notice. The EPA has vowed that "they will not allow this volcano to erupt."
A spokesman from the Governor's office said, "The Governor believes the EPA has no business trying to interfere with the eruption of this volcano. This is a natural thing and we should let Mother Nature run its course."
Update 6:00 PDT
On tonight's "Shoutdown with Keith Olbermann," Keith declared Mount Redoubt as today's "Worse Volcano in The World!" He also stated that any injuries resulting from the eruption of Mount Redoubt would be the responsibility of Glenn Beck.
Now to the real news. According to The Alaska Volcano Observatory:
Seismic and satellite data over the past day indicate continued lava dome growth. Satellite and web camera images have been obscured by clouds, but no significant ash emissions visible in radar.
A satellite image from yesterday afternoon showed a continuous sulfur dioxide gas plume extending for more than 600 miles from volcano.
Additional significant explosive events with accompanying ash clouds, ash fall, and mudflows are possible and can occur with little or no warning. AVO will maintain 24/7 operations in order to quickly detect renewed significant explosive activity and other hazardous phenomena.

Glenn Beck - Obama why don't you just set us on fire?

ACORN and the Huffington Post to disrupt Tea Parties?

Tea Party role reversal: how to deal with potential agents provocateurs from the left

April 7th, 2009 11:12 pm
by Roger L. Simon
from Pajamas Media

Back when I was semi-card-carrying leftie, we used to spend a lot of time speculating who was the agent provocateur - read: FBI agent - at the demonstration. Usually we thought he was the most extreme character, the guy most obviously shredding his draft card in full view of the media while tossing a cherry bomb at an American flag already heavily doused in kerosene, maybe adding a little defecation into the mix. The theory was the more “out there” the acts, the more likely the motive was to discredit our “righteous” cause. This often included yet more extreme provocateurs inside the more violent groups like the Panthers and the Weathermen where real bombs, not the cherry sort, were involved.

But times have changed and for once the formerly quiescent right is gearing up to demonstrate on April 15. The left has not had to deal with something like this in recent years. Fuddy-duddy as they and their ideology may be, they have had the demo scene pretty much to themselves for decades. An element of distress (envy? nerves?) is in the air. According to Newsbusters derived from the Cavuto Show and other sources, in a startling role reversal, ACORN and the Huffington Post are planning to infiltrate the Tea Parties.

On Fox News Channel’s April 7 “Your World,” host Neil Cavuto reported that the Tax Day tea party protests on April 15 will be “infiltrated” by their political opponents and led by left-wing activist organizations. He specifically named Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).

“Only eight days before a nationwide tea party, some over-caffeinated crashers aiming to lay waste to it,” Cavuto said. “Reports of very well-organized infiltrators trying to mix in and rain on this parade. Talk about taxing.”

Of course, in the parlance of a more centrist liberal, this all depends on what your definition of infiltrate is. The HuffPo is planning, like PJTV and Pajamas Media, to send citizen reporters. If that’s true, more power to them. Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom, I always say. But if they intend to participate and shape events while hiding their identities, well, that’s another matter. The same is true of ACORN. I would say to them welcome. Demonstrate, counter demonstrate, do your thing. This is America. But if someone’s out to play the agents provocateurs game, trying to make the Tea Party movement seem to be what it’s not, painting libertarians as racists or similar nonsense, well, that deserves to be exposed and countered vigorously.

So my recommendation to Tea Party demonstrators as a former leftie is to tear a leaf from my old book. Keep your eye out for the most extreme characters and then ask yourself: Is that real? Is that person who he or she says he is? Cui bono, who profits, here from what they are saying or doing? Draw your conclusions (carefully!) and then act accordingly and completely within the law.

They murdered her in cold blood- Marcus Lattrell regarding his yellow lab named Dasy

Marcus Luttrell is a true American Hero. He represents Honor, Courage, Strength and absolute Love of Country. He is out of the mold of Heroes that made this Country possible and continue to protect her to this day.

I cannot find the words that properly describe what he went through serving his Country. I can only say 'Thank You" to Marcus, but also let him know that there are many more Americans like me that feel the same way as I do.

I know from experience the unconditional love that a dog gives you. When they look at you, all they see is someone they love. There are no 'kind of's', or 'maybe's'. They just do. If a person truly has the ability to love, it would be hard to imagine that person not being able to love a dog.

Society should be concerned about those that can commit a cold-blooded killing like this. I wouldn't want them living in my neighborhood.
Rees

Apparently a group of scum bag teens were big fans of Michael Vick, because 'for fun' they have been driving around Texas shooting dogs. As if shooting dogs wasn't horrible enough, one of the dogs they executed belonged to an American hero -- Marcus Luttrell.

The dog, named Dasy (each letter representing one of Luttrells fallen team members) had been given to him to help him with the healing process after going through absolute hell in Afghanistan (see Lone Survivor). Needless to say, this dog meant absolutely everything to him. Marcus heard the gunshot, saw the punks and chased them until he finally caught them. These wastes of skin are only alive because Marcus let them live

MUST WATCH!!! Beck: “Is it against the law sir!?”

pwn'd with a capital "P"

Comments from Hot Air.com:

What happened is most certainly news because we established that the Attorney General of CT is acting in a tryannical and unlawful manner.

1 - By using his Office and the office’s legal powers to engage in hostile State action against citizens who , it is not contested by anyone, have violated no law and in course of those actions , the AG is violating
2 - The Constitution of the United States
Article I Section 10

No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility.
No State is permitted to interfere with any party’s obligations under a contract.
He should be impeached.

I like the fact that the conservatives are finally waking up and taking a stand. It’s good to see the tea parties and shows like Glenn Beck telling us it is okay to be angry, to stand up for our rights, and to march in the streets. It works for the left. Those loonies have been making noise, demanding their views be voiced, while we sit in our offices and work. Now, we have a chance to make some noise, to take back our country, to demand that the laws and the constitution be followed in our country. I like the fact that the left loonies are a little scared.I say, let’s make some noise and make the left pee down their legs in fear.I heart Glenn Beck.

When Attorney Generals devote themselves to promoting what ought to be law, particularly heinous when not defined as their “wish” but arguments presented AS IF a matter of “yes or no” law, then the Attorney Generals are not doing their job of defending what IS the law, and the rights of those who obey the law. Simple enough, and the AG finally had to admit the status of factual vs. wish-list matter.
maverick muse on March 30, 2009 at 7:55 PM

Unbelievable, the Attorney General admits that he was enforcing a law that does not exist. In other words the Attorney General thinks… HE IS THE LAW. This is called thuggery and I’m afraid we are going to see more and more of it with the Democrats in power and encouraging it at all levels.

A pity that more of those fortunate to have a megaphone do not use it to expose these fools like Beck did with AG Blumenthal.
Jdripper on March 30, 2009 at 7:58 PM
------------------------------------------------

A nice demonstration of Liberal myopia and misunderstanding of the rule of law. Also a stellar example of how the MSM has lost its will and its way. Beck is doing the job that the MSM refuses and at this point is constitutionally incapable of doing: pressing the issues and asking hard questions.
When did Connecticut turn into Vermont? Who are these unsightly Socialists who embarrass themselves and their once great state?
This Blumenthal idiot goes a long way to show how the likes of Dodd can fester.
EMD on March 30, 2009 at 8:05 PM

You know what should be the law… following the Constitution.
Wait… that is the law? Huh, too bad there are no AGs prosecuting that one. Guess they’re too busy on “public policy”
… wait… I thought that public policy was required to be the province of legislators while the judicial branch dealt with enforcement of the law?
I am so confused… should we ask the executive branch and see if he can figure it out?

Wow, no wonder CNN got rid of Beck. Those pussies simply couldn’t stand watching a real man work the magic John Wayne used to bring to the screen.
Great stuff! Melted that POS on the constitution question. Liberals think they are above our laws. Beck just brought that dynamic to life.

Glenn Beck isn’t doing it for ratings, he already has the ratings.
He’s doing it because its what’s right. This AG has no business trying to enforce ‘populist principle’ vs the laws he was meant to enforce.
The CT AG had no response as to what law the people that received the bonuses was breaking. Plain and simple.
And something tells me, this is just a prelude of things to come with this new administration and its cronies.
RedbonePro on March 30, 2009 at 9:19 PM
-----------------------------------------------------

People in Beck’s line of work do go over the top sometimes with weak facts or poor perspective, but this ain’t it. This A.G. is a disgrace and the arrogance and over reaching he is happy to engage in is as un-American as it gets. Beck did exactly what’s needed: ask the simple questions and insist on answers. I can not figure out why some people for the sake of appearing reasonable cannot get on board with that. All that’s needed for evil to succeed is for people to try and look smart when angry indignation is called for. If this public law enforcement official does not get you angry then you would probably be fine with a good police beating or railroad of an innocent fellow citizen. It’s all just fun right, as long as it’s not you being ground up in some politician’s ego trip. No news value to this? Really AP? Maybe when some capitalists get hung in trees… well maybe the first one anyway. Then: “ho hum, that again.”
bagoh20 on March 30, 2009 at 9:29 PM
----------------------------------------------

No news value? Asking a public servant, who’s job it is to win convictions in court for violations of laws passed by our government, which broken laws he is spending his time trying to prosecute has no news value in you’re mind? Don’t you understand that it is the responsibility of a free press to find out and question how government officials do their jobs? This guy spent a solid week grandstanding against someone else’s bonuses and promising the populist mob to stop payment on a legal contract. This has no news value for you Allahpundit? I think you should really rethink this, either that or just spend you’re time reading Frum rants, monitoring Meghen McCain’s twitter musings and watching The View.

Really? So who here thinks like this wanker blueneck? Again, I have yet to hear this supposed “conservative” list a cogent argument for what his beef with Beck is. Deflect the argument of who signs your checks by another slam on Beck. Punk. It’s bitches like you that make realize America is too wealthy. Only a society as affluent as ours can afford parasites like you. What do you do for a living? And what’s with the tooth polishing? Is the only “DR” you can think of a dentist? Are you even sure I’m in the health industry? What the hell does the “D” in “JD” stand for, punk? Howzabout the “D” in PhD? Wow. Go to the dentist for your prostate exams, do you?

Must Watch! - Glenn Beck aka Howard Beale - I'm Mad As Hell and I'm Not Going To Take It Anymore - The One Thing 3/23

Video: Glenn Beck responds to Bill Maher, compares himself to Howard Beale

from Hot Air
March 23, 2009

You’ll have to wait awhile for the reply to Maher — a long, long, long while — but it’s here, tucked away at the end of a 14-minute disquisition on … all kinds of stuff, really. Whatever you may think of the man, he’s touched a nerve:

On Friday, he was number one in all of cable news in the coveted 25-54 demo, ahead even of Bill O’Reilly. With ratings like that, I don’t know how Fox can afford to keep him out of prime time. I’m expecting the announcement any day now that Special Report will be moving to 5 p.m., Shep to 6, and Beck to 7 to lead in to the Factor. God only knows what ratings he’d do with a real audience.
