Yes! Charles "Chas" Freeman is history! It was critical that the position not be filled by him. He was pro-China, pro-Islam, pro-Iran and anti-Israel.

I wrote five days ago about the gathering firestorm over Saudi/China water carrier Charles Freeman’s crappy nomination to serve as chairman of the group that prepares the U.S. intelligence community’s most sensitive assessments.
Well, he’s gone.
Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair announced today that
Ambassador Charles W. Freeman Jr. has requested that his selection to be
Chairman of the National Intelligence Council not proceed. Director Blair
accepted Ambassador Freeman’s decision with regret.
Way to go again, Obama vetters!
