Montana Gun Law Aimed At Asserting Aovereignty

2nd Amendment, Montana style

Montana: You will take our Montana-made guns when you pry them from our cold dead Montanan fingers.

Montana’s legislature exempted Montana-made guns from federal gun laws, a move which underscores a state’s right to legislate commerce that occurs totally and exclusively within its own borders.

Democratic Gov. Brian Schweitzer immediately, saying, “It’s a gun bill, but it’s another way of demonstrating the sovereignty of the state of Montana.”

He also said: “I like big guns, I like little guns, I like pistols, I like rifles, and I would like to buy a gun that’s made in Montana.”

The Montana Shooting Sports Association, which drafted the bill, has said it will raise the money to pay for any legal costs, the AP reported.

The story is here.

God bless Montana

  1. I think guns hurt people. If the world would just agree to talk about things like Obama wants to, we would all be happy. I disagree with this blog. Obama is the best thing that has happened to this country for a long time! He is going to save us from this awful mess.

  2. I think your a blind idiot to think Obama is the best thing to happen to the USA. The things that have slowly drowned this country he has shifted into over drive.

The 2nd amendment is used to keep the government from becoming something like China or Russia or England. The revolution was all about NOT being like them, because those political philosophies are oppressive. They take away rights for the "good of all". But it really drops the standard of living that comes from true freedom.

The most productive this Country has been is during the least amount of government babying of the people.

History is their so we don't make the same mistakes over and over again.

Evil people want to say sacrifice yourself for the greater of mankind. What happens if EVERYONE sacrifices themselves? No one lives. It's flawed. People are responsible for their own lives. It's not your neighbors job to pay your rent.

I could sit a pistol right there on your kitchen table and, it would sit there forever. Never moving an inch or, firing a shot that is until a PERSON picks it up, points it and, PULLS THE TRIGGER. You see, firearms are inannimate objects or, tools if you will. Like a screwdriver or, ratchet set. In order for it to perform it's "tool" duty a PERSON has to pull the trigger. Your statement is moot.

  4. Guns alone can not hurt people. It is the person holding it that does. It is ignorant to think otherwise. When guns become illegal, criminals will be the only ones who have them and leave law abiding citizens helpless. Enough of the liberals reinterpreting the Constitution.

  5. I carry a gun every day for a living...If more people would carry guns...and start snuffing out some of the scrotbags when they try and rob them they might get a clue that they might die when they try that...Obama would love nothing more than to take our guns and make us all good little sheeple...and people that support him are too stupid to see it. Come and get them...looking forward to it.
